It will cost me $250 to file and if things go smoothly that will be it. Legal fees will be extra of course but I really don't want much, especially if it will cost me money which I do not have.

Now that the MOST important thing in my life is settled (parking for the cars) I can move onto the NEXT item on the list

Ellen, be fair to yourself in this. I'm not saying to attempt to take the guy "to the cleaners", but take what is your due.

Don't make ANYTHING final unless a lawyer looks at the agreement....

Just my .02.

PM sent.

I paid much less than $5k for my lawyer, and even if you do pay $5k, I'd venture to guess that you'll come our far ahead in the end if that's what you choose to do.

I don't have $5k to spend I would have to max out one of my credit cards and/or take out a loan. Seems excessive. I will pay for 2 visits to a lawyer though. One up front and one at the end. Hopefully that will not be overly expensive.

With no kids, if you and Joe can come to an agreement, that may suffice.

Hope so!

Me too. I've already given up the furry kids to him so all we have left are bills

I still haven't figured out which gun I want to buy, doh. Need to get on that.
Here is my absolute favorite!!!

It's the 1st gun I ever shot at 13, and I love it as much today as I did then, the only thing is, now when I fire it, it no longer knocks me clear off my feet.

The M1 Garand, my dad's service rifle.

The upper catridge is the .30-06 the M1 Garand takes

Trust me, this thing has stopping power!!!
