Cheap is good I'm reading up on material now. They talk about having mediators. I'm not going to rush into anything at this point until I have learned all I can for free, then I am going to pay the least amount of money I can because I just don't have any

I was super impressed with the mediator style, it made me and the x work things out, and the mediator was there to do what she called "power balence" which was her way of making things even when one person was obviously expecting/demanding way more than half.

In my case the x was extremely greedy, especially considering how little I actually wanted, but when it came to certain things I would not back down, and the mediator could see who was being nasty, and she power balenced to my side almost every time.

I want very little compared to what the house is valued at. I have learned alot already... mainly that divorce consists of alot of paperwork I used to be a paper pusher before I became a geek... you can even ask to waive the $225 filing fee! You KNOW I'm gonna do that

Supposedly once a month the local court offers a class in how to get divorced, something I am going to signup for. And thanks to a nice tip, I have a referral to get 1/2 hour of legal time for $25

Between that and family court free information I should be well on the way... I'm just waiting for my landlady to come home so we can go look at parking!

Ummm, sorry. Not gonna happen. But, if I get to the point of memorizing the names of Honda employees, I'm gonna give serious thought to some counseling.

Tadashi Kume was an employee, Soichero Honda founded the company. Bit of a difference there. I think most of the people who read my post got it.
