We're not tempted to get ours out until temps are in the 50 degree range, for more than one day.

I'm guessing it's going to be the end of the month before that happens..HAS to happen in April as the next house mod is a deck, and I don't want to leave the car in the driveway while that is being done.

Maybe we'll have a deck party in July.

I drove it about two miles to the car wash. The car was filthy and I figured salt wouldn't be a major issue after Saturday's monsoon.

Well that's a bit of a drive anyway I have a do it yourself car wash about a mile from my house now... I wonder if I can get a discount "card" like I had in Middlebury (pay $85 up front and get $100 worth of wash credit).

I'm trying not to get excited about getting my car back quite yet... I was way overly excited last time and it didn't happen

Yes! That would be perfect! How about end of July in honor of someone's birthday?

I am going to be making good use of my car cover for awhile still... calling for rain/snow at night for a few more days here at the end of the week

I may be looking to move sooner than I thought. There is a place down the road with a big rent sign that has what looks like a car port
Date is dependent on the Little League Schedule. The park across from my house really packs them in a couple weekends in July, giving us no parking except for our driveway..

We'll see how much time we spend dealing with Nor'Easter planning before we plan a cookout.

Oh, Ellen, not sure what kind of car cover you have, but make sure your car is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN before using it, or you'll end up with a scratched up finish. You might be better off just leaving the car exposed to the elements for a few days. It won't hurt it.

It should be clean... it was clean when I left it

It's the "official S2000 cover"... I got it free because someone was throwing it out - it has a small stain on it

I will miss having an insider at the dealership for deals like this Time to start cultivating one of the Honda techs here

If it's not good and clean I will leave it off. I just don't know if I can stand to see SNOW on my convertible top

Careful with the OEM cover, it's just a dust cover and it not suitable for outdoor use.

I have another cover (heavy duty outside use) at the house but I am not sure at this point if I will be able to get it. I will ask though.

I've used the S cover before outside on cold nights when there was going to be heavy frost and it was fine for that. I can always wash and dry it in between uses. Or like den mom says, it really won't hurt to get a little rain and snow on the car a few days.
