A seasoned cord split & delivered like that runs about $165 in these parts....I usually go through about 4 of them in a winter.

She still has several piles in the barn it's going into and we are loading this towards the back so I assume this is October burn at the earliest. I got no idea about the price. This seems like one of those things maybe I should not ask about

The reason I am helping is to earn free parking the rest of the summer. I am supposed to only have spot for one car but she said if I wanted to pay more and/or help around the house more I can have two spots. At least until her kid gets a car. Not sure when that will be but then it will be time to look for a new apartment

I just found an ad for $150 and another for $165. 4 cords is what she is getting plus she does have other heat source too but says wood is much cheaper.

I'm adding the piling wood to a long list of crazy and stupid stuff I have done and endured for the sake of one of my cars

No true Vermonter pays for wood, their cousin's mother's brother-in-law's sisters husband does logging and trades the tops for whatever.

I think I am only supposed to "help" Which in my mind means just two Guess I will see. She was impressed with how much I had done in less than an hour so I must be doing OK.

I was already in pain, since my lower back has been wacked for years, but as long as I only carry a few pieces at a time and bend the right way it won't be much worse than before. And it's great exercise.
