Craigslist.
A hopefully funny story about calling people early...
A number of years ago Joe was working at a place that offered (4) 10 hour days per week. 7-6 I think it was, worked out great.
The company then decided w/o warning to change the shift to be (3) 12 hour days per week. And all of a sudden he had to be there at 5:30 and work until 6.
That was not so fun. We were up by 4:15 three days per week. He was not given a choice in the hours, just here's the way it is, work it or quit.
So just to make us feel a little better about getting up so early, we got call ID blocker and as soon as Joe would get up he would call the plant manager at home.
That guy had an 8-5 cushy shift so 4:15 was a tad early for him. "oops, wrong number, sorry!" click.

It is weird they would drive 6 or 7 hours for wheels though.
Depending on fuel economy there could be a financial savings over paying for shipping, and then factor in the potential damage during shipping, oh, and if picked up, the person with the cash can always say no thanks, these don't look as good as you said, if they are shipped once they arrive basically you are stick with them.
I drove 384 miles, about 6 hours one way, to West Virginia to meet airgate when I bought his AP1 wheels, and I would do it again in a second for the right opportunity.
