Default RE-11's?

Hey everyone, hope you had a great weekend.

It's tire time here. Was thinking about trying the new Potenza RE-11 and I was just wondering if anyone had any feedback or first hand experience with these. I am looking for max traction and handling in dry conditions and not concerned about wet or snow as my car never sees either. It would be great if I could get 10 -15 k out of them as well. Also, where is a good place to get them mounted?

Thanks in advance.

the RE-11 is suspose to be state of the art. Better then RE-01R and the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star. Then there is the the Pirelli P-Zero Corsa which are on the same level. either the RE-11 or the P-Zero Corsa i would go with

I realized yesterday on the highway i've let my tires go wayyyy to long without replacing them. Hydroplaning like a Futher Mucker!! I think my jaw hurts from clenching my teeth the whole ride home.

Couple questions?

What tires are people buying lately for good price - rain performance is a MUST as I daily my S in the not-winter.

Does one order tires and then get them to the place where you would get them put on?? Obviously we all know you can't fit 4 tires in the S.

Ryan, if you buy them from Tire Rack, you can go on their site and find
a list of affiliated shops that will mount the tires for you and you can have
them shipped directly to that shop.

Exciting ain't it?

I did that last year with Barb in the car on the Mass Pike.
I thought she was going to rip the door handle right out.

Tire Rack has a great comparison feature that rates tires on many subjects.

I think I'm leaning towards the RE-11's as my research is leading me to.

The RE-11's just came out, don't know how much real driving
experience opinions you will get. They are the replacement for
the RE-01R's which a lot of people rave about.

Yeah, I know they're new but there are a few people outside the S2k community that have been driving on them. I know the 01's were very well respected and very popular so I expect the 11's to be just as good, if not better.

RE-11 newer technology and Bridgestone uses F1 technology I would say RE-11 most State of the Art street tire today
