Now that everyone has had a good cry about basseball talk, I figured I'd start a thread to talk about the Sox and follow the 2009 season. Aside from the recent sweep of the Yankees, I thought last night's game was amazing. A 12 run sixth inning! I've never seen anything like it (that I can remember). Did anyone else catch it?

In other news, Red Sox legend Manny Ramirez was suspended for 50 games for steroid use. Gee, I wonder if he did 'roids while he was with the Sox?

 

Impossible! No one on a Boston team would ever do such a thing.

 

Right? Amazing what fans think about their home-team players.

 

I didn't like Manny even when he was w/ the Sox. Constant crybaby and selfish...

 

So the sixth inning last night ties the major league record for most runs in a single inning. Sox FTW!

I remember a game several years ago where the Sox scored 10 runs before
recording an out in the inning. Don't know if that's a record or not.

 

I thought we got all twelve runs without an out.

Last nights game was a bright spot in a dark day for Boston teams. Glad to see the Sox handle the Rays. I hope we do it again tonight.

Meanwhile, A-Rod returns to the line up and hits a home run. Yanks beat the Os.

 

Well the Sox have been winning, I like the way they are filling the holes when guys go down injured. They be gellin!
