Refund on tune ?
So I went to swift motorsports in ct by Mohegan sun and got a base (street tune) since Giles isn't doing it as much ad he used too. And I have been having issues with misfire codes which I had before the tune also. The car runs and it's not bad at all just couldn't go into boost so I got the basic street tune so I could at least do that while I broke my new motor in. I was less then impressed with his knowledge of the emanage ult considering he is a greddy direct dealer and trained by them also. He used the greddy turbo basemap to start with which I don't have the greddy kit. But I figured it was a basemap. And during the two hour process he was researching the setting to use for a good 45 mins as he didn't have the rpm signal set right. He charged me for the full two hours ($100 per hour) even thou part of it was his lack of knowledge of the system And now my car is running like complete crap and I have a blinking cel so after three days of tring to figure out y I unpluged the emanage and the car ran great so I think his tune is way off and I am wondering if I should ask for a refund ? Or a retune ? I am afraid of getting a retune by them because of the lack of knowledge of the emanage and the s2000 or just cut my loss and keep looking for a new tuner?
First, when you left the shop were you having the blinking cel? If so and you left I would have turned around and complained. Needless to say you're hom and still having issues. Try calling them and expressing your concern for the tune. See if they would look at your car again with out a charge since they didn't set it up properly when they should have. If they say no, explain to them in a professional manner how upset you are with them and move on. You can always compain/ report to the better business bureau. Best of luck.
No blinking cel came on about 60-70 miles later And I am not sure if I want to use them to keep tuneing it I think they can mess up my motor worse then the factory ecu but is a service like tuneing really refundable ? I kinds equate it to a landscaper he puts work in and u pay him but then the lawn dies do u get a refund?
Derick I redid the headgasket and got 3 of the 4 within about 5 psi but cylinder 1 is still 30 lower so I need to do a leakdown test I am hopeing it's an easy fix but I doubt it and I really don't wanna buy a leakdown tester but looks like I am gunna have too

Jeff Evans is worth the drive!
Brian I would get that compression issue worked out before your next tuning session otherwise you are just wasting your hard earned cash
