hey everyone...i recently got a clifford 50.5x alarm done by one of cliffords authorized installers but he could not get the remote starter to work on my car...and after having the car for 2 days he could not get the starter to work claiming that my immoblizer is the problem...i find it hard to believe because my key works fine when i crank it up everytime...what should i do? oh btw we were both on with dei's techs for hours and they couldnt get it...
DEI sux!! - Cheap product with a high employee turnover.

Astroflex or Code systems are the only one's I would use. Both have lifetime warranties.

Well I have never had a issue with DEI products in over 15 years .

All alarms are only as good as there installer . Most all offer the same protection and features .

I am not Bias as I sell Astroflex, Code and DEI products

I can tell you most of the AstroLine is a rip off of DEI design and others as one of the Reps used to borrow product from us to reverse engineer . One of there main offices is right here in Manchester Roger is a good friend of mine

As far as DEI , you need to stay in the upper lines , now that they have grown so much in the past ten years they have taken over many lines and other companies and the lower lines are out sourced to china .

As far as install , DEI ends up being a much cleaner install as I believe Astro and Code both have poor designs and take twice as long to install because there was no thought put into the layout for install which makes it look like a mess under the dash . I like my installs to look like the factory installed them ( NOT THE DEALER ...lol )

But hey , everyone has there own opinion

during the winter time i would still continue to use my s2k to go to work in the morning, even though i have beater cars. whenever it's chilly in the morning (as long as there is no snow on ground) i would like to be able to let the car warm up while i'm in my apartment while the car doors are still locked.
I see
