Rolling tool box for garage
It's low on the priority list big picture but would really help organize my tools etc.
Finally have a garage to call my own would like your input on rolling toolboxes.
Thinking of getting the HUSKY 26" box. Sounds and looks better constructed than the one at Lowes or the Craftsman. Just sound alone it opens and closes quietly. Not clanging all around.
Is there another brand that's better but same price or any reason why I WOULDN'T want to get this one.
Thanks,

Roller bearing and full extension are a must. I know there are different levels but for the price some are just cheap and some are just overkill.
I don't need speakers in my tool box thank you. Though a motor actuated 27" LCD screen wouldn't suck.

Stick with Craftsman or Husky stuff. Once you start buying high end stuff, it never ends. Heck... I spent ~$250 on used Snap-on stuff just yesterday. I try to justify it by telling myself I can turn it around on ebay for a profit if I wanted. Unfortunately, the real truth is I'll never sell it and I could have gotten much better value buying "lesser" brands.
I just got the craftsman rolling box for christmas.
look for I-frame,ball bearing and grip latch.
this is their more serious toolbox stuff.
big box
they also have the single width version which is ~600-700 for the set.

I used to work for Snap-On's largest competitor. I have a set of boxes I bought at a "scratch and dent" sale. I'm not sure whether they have ball-bearing slides, but the bottom drawer is so full I can barely pull it out, yet I can stand on it to look into the top of the top chest.
With that said, I've seen some stainless steel sets at Costco that impressed me. Don't spend big bucks without checking them out.
Whatever you decide, buy good quality, ONCE!!!!
