Yea...plenty I guess, however...way too much food in his bowl if he was inside.

Thanks guys.....if it was the other cat who got loose, we would have been woken by the meowing outside for food....Dargo is the George Bush of cats.....not too bright.

You might try checking with some of your neighbors tonight to see if anyone has seen him. Hope he's safe and returns home.

Perhaps he got stuck in a shed or something! Ellen's right - check with your neighbors. I bet he's not far. Hope he's ok!!

If he got stuck in a shed today....he is probably dead from the heat.

Oh I hope not! Perhaps it was a shed in the shade?

Or perhaps he's living life large and riding around on a float with a cold drink in his hand in the neighbor's pool?

Definitely check around your property; cats can get into crazy places that you would not expect. And check with the neighbors. You might also call any local animal shelters and/or vet clinics. It's always scary to have one of the kids away from home. Good luck finding him

Ok... I have my first data point. My AC used 7.72 kWh in a 24 hour period to keep pretty much my whole house at 72 degrees in ~90 degree weather. According to my electric bill, I used 132 kWh last month and was charged $27.28. It's broken up into a million separate charges, but to get a ballpark cost per kWh, I just divided the total cost by kWh and came up with ~21 cents a kWh. It cost me $1.62 to cool the house for the day. If I assumed it's going to be 90+ degrees every day, it'd cost me an additional $48.64 to run the thing like that the whole month.
