Default S2000 CR

I was thumbing through Automobile magazine at lunch today and it had some information on the CR that I originally missed.
No softtop, only an aluminum hard top that can be removed to lighten the load by 90lbs. Interesting.

They called it a new trim level. No extra power, aero add-ons, beefier suspension parts, and quicker steering. And no soft top.

It went on to say that Honda expects to sell 1 CR for every 3 S2000's sold, but "unfortunately every one of 'em will have that disco rear wing". I do not like the wing either.

On sale September 2007, great just in time for winter racing in New England

Yep, saw that thread but missed the Vtec thread where it states no soft top. Hardtop only, like I said, just in time for NE winter racing.

Sadly they are reporting no power increase. That seems like a misstep. If you are gonna race it, it should have more guts.

To offer increased power you must have a way to develop more power safely in a livable package.

What a big fat disapointment that car was. Add a hideous wing that can't be deleted and sell you a car you could basicly make yourself by ripping parts off a regular S2000. I am buying Nissan next time!!!
