Ellen, I have a few more spots available on my "freinds and family" plans. $6.99/mo if you are interested. All I will need is your radio ID to call it in.
I think she needs to put the receiver in as I just did which is $359 for all the parts and pieces from Majestic (hondaautomotiveparts.com) in Rhode Island. This is half of what the dealer charges to add it.

The head unit is XM ready and the wiring all goes to the trunk making it very easy to add. Ron and Nick did it in 2 hours.

as mentioned before you can get xm direct that plugs into your headunit for $50.00 no need for all the big oem honda stuff

also i had my oem antenna painted to match the car - i have no idea why honda would only give a silver cover for the oem xm antenna

lastly wskS2K - i hope you are not paying anymore than $77.00 a year for xm

Yeah I'm 99% sure you are right Wendy... the car is "ready" for it but not installed... and since $359 is a car payment I have to hold off, even if I could afford the $7/month

Some things I want bad enough to use a credit card, other things I can live w/o for a while.

I prepaid for 3 years in '06. Kinda hard to threaten to cancel when you are activating another radio I will wait a month or two and then threaten to cancel one of my three...but by then the merger could be a reality and then you could have a menu of items to pick from.

And I wanted OEM.

Update on the XM plans for those who were denied the discounts.

I called today to cancel the radio in my cruiser and add XM internet radio for $2.99/mo so that I can use the XM app in that car instead, saving money. I did just that, but they were basically begging me not to cancel and offered me the coveted $77/yr plan AND three free months to boot.

For a period of time, this was discontinued right after the merger. If you have an XM plan at full price, I suggest calling up and canceling using the excuse that you don't use it enough any more. Thye should give you the deal.

no real need now - with groove shark and pandora and etc etc don't see the need to spend money on internet radio

i was a customer since 01 and they would not grant the $77.00 before so i say Eff them
