Scott's The MAN !
Giles,
Just curious. Let's say if we stick with NA.
Install a CAI, a larger throttle body for more air, fuel rail for more fuel, APEC something computer to smoothen the VTEC engagement, a hotter cam, header, exhaust.....to prove the exhaust flow efficiency.....
Of course, professional tuned by you guys.
What will be the hp and torque gains?
Just curious. Let's say if we stick with NA.

I wasn't selling myself short or saying you car sucked.
I know I slept like a brick. I have no clue how you managed to go to RI and back after putting in a day like that. I just think you deserve some major recognition

Interesting take. Very true though.
I guess my goals are increase of low end torque and lower and smoothen the VTEC engagement point to get a more linear throttle response.
I am not looking for a 100hp gain(in my dream with NA), but not a 2 or 3hp or lb gains neither, somthing like a reliable 10 to 15hp and 5 to 7lbs gains across the board will be nice. You know, the performance gain has to be noticeable. Otherwise, why bother, the stock engine is a very good power unit already.
I have a feeling. Force induction will have more bang for the buck.
I think I need to get a baseline first.
LMK when you guys have another dyno session.
Thanks!
Thomas

I would strongly suggest that you find the limits of what you already have. You will be surprised at how quick the S it below VTEC as long as you are in the correct gear. There is an autocross this Sunday at NHIS which is the perfect place to figure out where the car is lacking. It's very informal, lots of fun and very safe for you and your car. If you don't have a helmet they have some available that you can use.
