Default Scott's The MAN !

While driving home this week a slight ticking noise suddenly became a loud rapping noise. The 'check engine light' started flashing. I got car home and called Scott for advice. He offered to drive from his shop (Ballistic Motorsports) in Manchester,NH to my house in Epping NH (40 min) and to bring his code reader. He checked the code (#4 cyl) and took out the destroyed coil pack (lower 2" of coil pack missing) and removed damaged sparkplug. After discussing problem for awhile he refused to take any payment for his work. He has since called me 3 times to see how things were going. What a guy!! I would recommend Scott to any member who needs work done to their car

Grove ,same thing happened to this person------> Here

Yes as far as we know the service records show the TSB was done at Bach Honda on Grove's car.

This person was running aftermarket plugs .

I would put this on the must to do list --- check plugs torque every 5k to 10k looks like it will save you $ in the long run.

Don't sell yourself short Scott - in those 12 hours we:
1. Removed the old intake
2. Removed all the accessories (alternator, starter etc.)
3. Removed the transmission
4. Removed the old engine
5. Removed the clutch from the old engine
6. Installed the turbo on the new engine
7. Installed the clutch on the new engine
8. Installed the new engine
9. Installed the transmission
10. Wired and plumbed everything up
11. Installed all the alternator, starter and that stuff

If I hadn't been short a couple of things that I forgot to bring with me the engine would have ran that day!

The following day Glenn and I finished up and engine started up first time, no coolant or oil leaks.

Scott isn't just 'da man'. He's 'da superman'

Over the past few months we've been finding the limits of the stock internals. Now we're focusing on products that will get the most efficiency out of those stock components. My new engine is a stock MY04 motor which will be a test mule for some pretty cool stuff over the coming weeks.

I wasn't selling myself short or saying you car sucked. I was just saying i only got for hours of sleep if that. When I left Toms I came to Vehinet to get my laptop and ended up meeting the guy with the STI Extreme Auto sent down and talked with him till 12:30am . He was out front on Elm street talking with the kids that hang out looking for a tuner for his car . They pointed to me. Whats funny is he has been looking for me and didn't know where Merrill street was , even funnier as he was standing on it. His friend showed up also with a S2000 so it looks like we have a new possible member also. They seemed like a good bunch of guys. I told his friend to check out the boards . They were going to stop by today ,but I haven't seen them yet.
