really?? how can touch up paint stop rust?? it can't..

i'd read up on wet sanding, remove all the rust FIRST then touch up with primer THEN touch up paint.. Jeff mentioned something that made sense - after you touch up - let paint cure for a day then clay it to flatten out the paint

I don't know about Steve, but there was no punctuation and you didn't put a space in between the dash (-) and "best" so I got confused. I was reading it on my droid.

if you have any other questions regarding detailing and paint and i'll try to help you out
Thanks kindly for the offer but I don't need any help right now, my car has no rust or scratches currently but when it does I will be sure to visit with you for your expert labor and opinion. Thank you for that service you provide freely to our little community.

Like I said i did not list the obvious steps in doing a repair with touch up paint as I was on my Iphone, but thank you for doing so as it saves me the time. Another appreciated service you provide sarcasm intended.

While we are on this subject..

I just noticed some rust around the wheel well area. I don't drive this thing much but it is good condition I'd like to main that.

So, where do I take it to get fixed. I'm not going to have the time to do this myself.

I was thinking maaco or some place like that?
