what lawn mower are you guys going to get?
Not sure. Back to rear wheel drive, self propelled. Maybe even a key start. Anyone got comments on a key start?

The new one started right up, but Rick thought it was not an easy pull like the Toro; something to do with new safety features and the blades spinning? . Had to put a little muscle behind it. He thought I might have a hard time getting the mower started.

Maybe Erick can come over to start it for me...he's got muscles.

Need to check handle height too. I don't want to mow the lawn with my arms up above my head.

Honda makes a great self propelled mower. This is the latest model of the one I have been using for 6 years, with zero issues:

yup i have a ten year old honda just like yours - it runs as good as new BUT they are heavy and the cost an arm and a leg

Honda and Toro are the top two brands that i can think of with the key start but again i think you're looking at 600+ for an electric start option on a honda and i think around 400+ for a toro

Sears had one too....around $400.00.

We may have to use new one once more before we return it....lawn needs mowing.

We have 90 days.

Too pricey for the budget....

We got 20+ years out of the Toro...no complaints on that one.

Consumer Reports rates this one as a best buy: Toro Mower

Key start on a honda is a big waste of $$. They always start on the first pull - even if its a wimpy one.
