Just tried out the new Snapper. Hope American's Funniest Videos was nowhere nearby.

Key start Self propelled once again, so not much work to mow. A lever controls your speed and just a tiny squeeze of it and I was almost running.

Going around trees It's heavy to pull back, and I found it more difficult to manage than the Toro.

Tougher to get close to the edges of house, etc, as with all the handle stuff, pull start thing adjustment knobs.... so a bit more weed whacking to do edges.

All in all it's a nice mower, I like the features but I think the Toro was easier for me.

Speaking of weed whacking I always have difficulty keeping the extension cords from tangling...so I get them set up, go to plug the thing in and I realize the weed whacker is battery powered (It's been a while since I did yard work). It dies out as I'm almost done. I bring it to the basement to plug it into the charger....I know where Rick leaves the charger plugged in....I'm looking at it, and looking at it and don't see the right port. The charger he had plugged in was for the lawnmower battery. Thanks, Rick.

As mentioned, first time in a long time I do yard work.....could be a while before I do it again.

Wow! I can understand your unhappiness with them.

Our experience was good. No issues when we returned the one we were unhappy with. Bass informed me that they were having a one day sale on mowers. I went in with the flyer and got another credit of almost $30.00.
