havent posted in a while. hope everyone is doing fine. So some of you might know that last year my ring gear spat out a couple teeth. Autopsy revealed that the 4.56 Final Gear, that was in the car when purchased, was indeed installed incorrectly

So now im looking to get a set of 4.44's since the .56's arent being made anymore. however no one has them in stock. TeamMfactory.com says that the ones they carry have a meshing problem and wont be resold until solved.

Science of Speed wont have them for another month. Though after I asked if they carried factory ones they offered to sell me a used factory set for $200 shipped. Its been inspacted but year and milage are unknown.

I would expect them to have good judgement of selling a used part.

what do you guys think?

 

The 4.44s are a Mazda/Kia part...Think is the front diff parts of the late '90 Sportage.....so no need to wait...call Kia.

 

as far as selling used parts.....no problem if they disclose it is used
