really depends on what you want to do

Jenner has a SC and his car is fast as hell..

Glenn (G-s2k) went NA and his car is pretty fast (quite a bit faster than mine)

Simple answer would be if you want more power from your S2000 adding forced induction like a supercharger or a turbocharger will in most cases give you the most power for the least amount of money.

It gets a whole lot more complicated than that, and in the long run you usually end up spending lots more money on a forced induction car than you planned.

You don't have to tune a supercharger on a dyno, but you will probably want to, in order to make sure you are getting the most out of it and the right air/fuel ratio.

Without a before after dyno it is hard to tell if modifications to your car, be it FI or NA, are increasing power in all areas and running at safe fuel levels.

BTW Bass drives a Spa Yellow S2000, that's why he has the SPA-GHETTI link at the bottom.

What hasn't Glenn done to his car. I suggest that you PM him if you want details if he is willing to share.

There is a huge laundry list of mods you can do. It all depends on how deep your pockets are!!!

Simply put some cash and thinking into taking driving education classes and track events. Makes you a faster driver/better driver without doing anything to your car!

Tough question Jay... at least for some to answer (me)...

It depends on you. It is test proven that FI gives on average about 80-100 HP additional. Staying NA hasn't been fully proven yet on max HP. A lot of time, money and elbow grease goes into each project.

I will put forth a seldom heard alternative viewpoint:

The S2000 is a very well balanced overall package, from a system level engineering standpoint.

To generate its power it was designed with very high compression and superb breathing, in clear contrast to many forced induction packages offered by other car companies.

Kind Regards, Chris

it depends on your budget just like what everyone says... FI is a cheaper way after all... N/A will cost you too much money!!

If you go FI, you also have to be aware that other components on the S2000 drivetrain may not be spec'd for that much additional power and torque.
