hey jeff,
btw be willing to make noise while the baby is sleeping.
let them get used to a slightly noisy environment as normal.

then they won't be waking up every time you make a noise.

No problem there....From 11:30pm to 3:00am....I'm watching him and making sure Erin gets some sleep. We spend quality time watching episodes of Top Gear on BBC America and during the commercials flip over to some soft pron on Skinamax......

Good ideas Doug. I'll take a look at your "for sale" thread. My only concern about one for sale thread is that things might get confusing. How often do you dump it and start a new one?
You are spot on Bill, it does get confusing, terribly confusing, especially when you start to merge threads because you can loose all logical chronological order of the conversation(s).

However, like so often, it's a balencing act between the good, the bad and the ugly. For me the ugly was more damn for sale threads in Upstate than all the other converstion and event threads. The good though is you know where to look for things for sale and as far as I'm concerned, most of the actual transaction happens via PM's so the key is the seller is able to advertise, and the potential buyers can send all the PM's they want. It's not a perfect solution, but I have yet to come up with a better one. I sticky both the Rules thread and the All items for sale thread.

Actually, it has been a long time since I purged the thread, I should go do that, it ain't a fun task...

So far, the best local community "For Sale" threads are (IMHO)

Florida

Mid-Atlantic

Upper Mid-West

There goes Tyler's racket

2. Please try to keep your for sale items related to the S2000. You can choose to sell other items but please don't turn our forum into "Timmy's Bargain Barn."
