I was going to say that Many places will loan you a carrier BUT you really should have a decent one because at one point or another you will probably need to take the cat to the vet. There are vets that come to your house but they are alot more expensive.

i use a vet that comes to the house and it's only like 20 bucks more

it's worth it to me bacuse my cats hate the car

I always just took my cats to the vet in the car. One would howl the whole way and the other loved riding in the car. The only problem with the one that loved the car was it would decide to get up on the dash right in front of me or explore the pedals on occasion.

Under the pedals is one big reason why you want a carrier. That an imagine being in an accident and having the cat go through the w/o

I always have had carriers with a heavy duty handle on top that you can run a seat belt through.

Steve's poll does not look like it's that popular yet
