Default Snow Day

Yup it's a snow day and we're home with the kids. Anyone else? Looks like we got a little over a foot and it's still coming down.

My yard looks like a battlefield. Small trees are laid over, big trees have dropped many branches. The snow is heavy and the wind is high.

Not quite that bad out here in western MA, probably got 6-7" but still coming down.

I already made arrangements to work from home today so here I sit nice and warm.

Thought I'd be a good son last night and let the mother park her G35x in the garage in the case that if she had to go to work she wouldnt have to clean the snow off her car. Just went outside to check on the car after seeing a branch on the hood from my room, nice sized dent right over the hood missing my right fender. So if anyone has a silverstone hood for sale please I would appreciate it.

And a Passenger side fender as well.

Bakk

We have about 6" of slushy heavy snow. I called in and took a vacation day. I have always made it in to work, but it looked messy, a day at home sounded good. Rick drove the Jeep to work. He's not thrilled with the tires on the WRX for snow. They will be replaced in the next little while.

I'm sure my boss is as it's not as bad here as in other areas.

Closed our office in Trumbull CT till 11:00 check in after that they say. Either was I am going to work from home.

We got 14" and its still coming down! They haven't plowed our street at all yet. So even if I wanted to go to work I doubt that I would actually be able to get there unless I took my wife's truck. Even then it would be questionable.

Our office decided yesterday afternoon to close; a very rare occurrence indeed. So we have about a foot in Tewksbury right now and it's still coming down hard. Even the trash collection was postponed until tomorrow. This snow is very heavy and I'm hoping that I don't have trees or branches come down on the fence or the house. Life in NE!
