Phone rang at the end of the day. The guy on the line recognized my voice, but I didn't recognize his.

Long story short, it was a convicted felon.....a bank robber to be exact!

This guy worked for my place of employment for a while....nice guy.....until he really got into the bottle.

He got worse and worse along the way and actually robbed a bank! He did his jail time, 2 1/2 years, and has been working in the Boston area.......now he was thinking about heading back to our area, wondered if we were hiring.

I do hope he's on the right road now....two ex wives, two kids, countless lost jobs.....

Edit: I realize talking to bank robbers is probably all in a day's work for Jeff/sireousrex. It was new to me though...

Nah, poor bas%%## only netted less than a few grand and as far as I know it was all recovered.

Well Steve, we should all be smart enough to know you don't hear about the ones that get away.

The dumb one's get caught, and never get to keep the money. The good ones are now driving Ferrari's and Lambo's in Cuba.

 

I think he was drunk at the time. He was picked up 15 minutes later in Shaw's near the deli counter.
