I have used both Scott and Billman both are awesome. I drove the car to Billman in Long Island for a valve job new ft brakes and his once over treatment. His booking time is 6 - 8 weeks out it is worth it. I just hang out in the shop with my laptop and get some work done.

He will show you how do do some of the work yourself later.

I drive down from Boston and take the ferry to LI from CT. Bring some treats for his dog.

I think we’re all on our own now to be honest. Billman told me I have to wait until 2022 and Scott doesn’t do S2K mechanic work anymore.

I am looking to refresh my head-gasket which might be compromised from overheating the other day, but Billman is booked up, up to and past 2022.

I really didn’t want to do the work myself. But I might just park it for now and get after it when I have more space and time.

where are you located? I’m moving to Taunton soon and my dad and I have our 3 car garage we’ll be doing jobs out of. Head gaskets aren’t an issue.

My dad works on all my friends s2000s turbo, NA & SC and my own as well. He mainly works on Lamborghini McLaren and bmw though

How are we doing with solid techs/shops in NE area?

I've reached out to multiple shops around my area and they either don't work on Japanese cars or don't respond to calls or return voicemails.

I've relied on Joe Breton for many years. He's a Honda Master Tech at Herb Chamber Honda in Seekonk. Been there for decades. Nothing mechanical this guy hasn't seen before or fixed on an '03 S2000. Rebuilt my CT supercharged AP1 engine and tuned my AEM in it. Also does work on my second '07 AP2 that's bone stock Leguna Blue.

He is the original owner of an '02 silverstone that is his daily driver and tracks it and an Acura 600 whp he built out.
