If you can afford the more expensive one, do it.
Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Alternatively, you could go for the basic and have a day with 1st Lotus or Don Palmer too.
Personally, I'd do the expensive ride-drive, then a day with Don Palmer, but then I always was good at spending other people's money

got myself booked on the more expensive one next month. i think its worth paying the extra to find the limits in a safe enviroment. i hope its raining on the day!
although im not sure about the guy taking me out. he has no experience of the s. was wondering is it that important as i know he`s been out in all sorts of other faster machines.

He's been in an S, and the point of the training is to show that no matter what the car, you can stay within the safe limits and still make progress.
The S2000 isn't some scary monster of a car prone to throwing the unwary into the hedge, it's just like many other RWD cars and no more difficult to drive when you know how.

How do you know? He may not have - it seems to be a sort of mini franchise with a different person depending on where in the country you are.
(I appreciate your point about "general RWD techniques" etc though)
