Spring Prep
Well in hopes of getting my S back on the road come April (not sure when) today I purchased oil, brake fluid, new blades to cut hood for Mugen intake. Besides a full detail and fluid change I still need to do a number of other things ala ss brake lines, new diff mounts, and tweek the location of my Greddy unit. Has anyone else begun the slow process of getting their S back on the road?
We thought for sure we'd need a new battery, but it started right up yesterday AM. Rick had to move it due to a neighbor's tree being removed.
The car was put to bed with clean oil, but Rick just purchased all the other fluids and filters and whatever else he thought the car would need to start out the season clean and ready to go.
He'll take it to work in the next few weeks and get those things taken care of. Labor rate for employees is quite reasonable.

My '94 Integra blew through an exhaust pipe a couple of weeks ago, so the S2000 started its season a couple of weeks early this year. We nearly got snow this weekend; they "brined" the highways, but the snow missed us. Still, that's the closest to salt the car has seen in 10 years.
I just have a detail and rbake fluid flush left to do on mine, And i think im going to flush the clutch fluid since its probobly still origional, and its an easy task. I have been using ATE Super blue, So my fluid requires a flush every year.
Ill save the detail for my Spring meet on April 16th! Hope to see you all there!

I was told ATE superblue had silicone which requires replacement more often than normal brake fluid? I could be wrong i never researched it
but then again I have 2 more liters of unused superblue so it makes no difference to me.
