Default sticky up a fs thread!

i could of sworn we had a fs thread just for the new england area only? (maybe that was in the new york metro forums) but anyways, why don't we have a stickied fs thread. i know there's one for everyone to use, but i'm just the kind of guy that would rather meet up n' buy then wait in the mail

I think it would be hard to navigate if we had one long for sale thread. It's much easier just to start your own thread when you have an item to sell.

Since we rarely have much for sale here in the NE (unless Ty is active ) it will probably be more of a PITA than useful.

I know speaking for myself, who often buys stuff on impulse, I would not be checking through a mass for sale thread regularly. However, if I see a thread that has something I am interested with in the title, I just may buy it.

Ty, I think you should just get your own sticky thread for your sales by yourself.

It sounds like a great plan to me

i'll echo Jeff's sentiments

don't see a need for one - if you have something for sale just post it.. If someone wants your items and they are priced is right, it will sell. and the orig poster can lock the thread. and the thread will fall to the bottom

if it is priced too high it wont sell and it will fall to the bottom as well

New England is MUCH more active than Upstate NY so i can see it may work there however the only thing i would suggest is to copy Metro and require a membership to s2ki in order to sell (why not support the forum that allows the seller to make money of their parts)
