People like that are extremely dangerous. To others as well as themselves.
Oh, well at least you were paying proper attention and avoided a horrible situation.

you wind up getting smacked, she gives you a dirty look and then walks off.

I did have enough time, and didn't have to slam on the brakes. Don't forget had I done so and been hit in the rear, the other driver would be at fault... Rear end collision in MA rule...not even sure if anyone was close behind me....didn't even think to glance in mirror at that point, all I could think of was how horrible I'd have felt if I had hit a pedestrian, even a stupid pedestrian.

 

I was at an intersection today and my light turned green and i started to pull out and someone on my left ran the red light at a very fast speed and almost took me out. I so wanted to chase and beat him down. but he'll learn someday when he kills someone. i'll hear about it on the news. It was an accord.
