I am considering installing the SC in my S2000. Has anyone out there done this in the Boston area? Could you please let me know of names and cost? Also, what is there a potential damage for the engine (if any, under normal driving)?

Why do you need SC. I find my S2000 to have quite enough power already.

I might have the closest SC Stook to the Boston area... I just got my car dyno-ed in Worchester last week. Are you going to Lime Rock Memorial Day weekend? You can drive my car then if you would like...

BTW, when Comptech releases their boost upgrade package, I will definitely be getting that!

shaner, you have the supercharger?!?! WOW! I saw one in Asheville, but I didn't get a chance to listen to it. I am really excited about the Limerock meet now!

Pinky,

You're right about the idle... it's a little clanky. Also, during throttle you also hear a cool whistle. Like everyone has said <6000 rpm it is a normal Stook. >6000 it really does go like mad and make a lot of intake noise...

Hopefully I will have my stereo completely installed so we can compare notes on that too!

Thanks Pinky! You rock! ( I have always been a big Pinky supporter... not just right before I get to meet you)

Gregg Ginsburg got to take a ride in Harry's SC S2k (Comptech) when we stopped for the picnic lunch on the Saturday of S2KDays. After the ride, Gregg is now going to get one. He said that it was like taking an E ticket ride (Disney not the airlines)... I have no doubt the burst is awesome. Really pull some good numbers at the drag strip, but what will that do to the engine life's longevity?

Another Stook in the area... Have yet to see Michel's locally - I go to Fitzy's carwash on Rt 135 in Ashland to wash my baby. But, then again, I did not meet Dana until Asheville...
