Default Bad Harmonic w/ Comptech SC -> Is this normal?

I just got to drive Silver Surfer's newly Super Charged Stook.

First let me say.. WOW! That mother is FAST!

SS has a the Comptech SC with Stock Headers and Comptech Cat-Back exhaust. From ~3.5-5.5kRPMS there is a very loud and strong harmonic vibration. You can feel it in the shifter, steering wheel and in the seat of your pants, along with it being quite audible.

I can't imaging that this is normal and sugested Silver Surfer talk to Mike @ Comptech or Moda Car (they installed it).

Can anyone with the Comptech Supercharger attest to wether this is normal or not?

front right is where the SC draws air from, right?
if it's only in specific RPM ranges it could be harmonic resonance from something that touches the body of the car...

I should restate the front right to be right. It is not from the SC pulling in the air but more in the area of the header.

it might be exhaust... something is just rattling loud and at a sustained harmonic.

It is very noticable.

Hey SS, if you are still up, call me at home

Shad (from Comptech) tells me it's normal (he didn't say it was good, just that there was nothing different from the other installations).
The stick feels like it's electrocuting me at 5.5k even when you are not hammering.
I remember one of the other early guys (Jon C. maybe) saying he thought maybe his oil return line was hitting the x-member. I don't think it was, I think he was just experiencing the same vibration thing.

So, is there something wrong with yours in particular?
No.
Is the something inherently wrong/bad about the vibration being so strong on all the installations?
A definite MAYBE!

BTW, SS, at idle, from the inside the car, do you get a faint buzzing noise (not the SC gear backlash) that goes away off idle? If so, have someone hold the fuel line (FPR to fuel rail) away from the firewall to see if it goes away.

Also, if your MAP sensor check valve starts to fvck-up (mass timing retard under boost) give me a call, I'll send you a quick temp fix in the mail.

Maybe it's just the engine asking, "Why did you do this to me?"
