Red thanks, but I won't be going anywhere soon. I'll be in bed till my follow up appointment on Tuesday in which I'll get a cast. Then another 6-8 weeks of recovery followed by going back to PT. Right now pain meds are not helping much. This sucks.
My shoulder woes pale in comparison. Leg injuries really sux. You are so confined.

I do know being in pain and unable to do the things you want/need to do does indeed sux and it can get you down.

I hope time passes quickly for you. Call your doc if the meds aren't working.

Well, my mother stopped by our house and dropped off a bunch of movies from Blockbuster. I guess I know how the rest of my day is gonna go.

Josh, Good luck with your recovery.

A year and a half ago I had ankle surgery for an unstable ankle as well as an issues with a muscle being where it shouldn't be. I know it's not close to all the work you had done, your surgery was way more extensive. It takes a while for the ankle to feel "normal" again but my PT was the best and really worked miracles. Waiting around for the cast to come off etc., really sucked but you'll be up and about before you know it!! Hang in there!

Thanks, but I think if I had a brew I'd probably topple over with all the drugs I'm on. Pretty much stuck in the bedroom although omorrow I'll most likely venture into the family room.

Josh, what words did the doctors give you after the surgery? Any good news?

The surgeon was shocked that I was moving around on my ankle. It was pretty much fubarred. He said that I will defenitely gain more mobility, but to how much he doesn't know and I should have less chronic pain.

This sucks. Another day home and bored. I did venture into the family room today only to have my foot swell up to the size of a clown's shoe in only 1/2 hr. Back to bed with my foot elevated and back on the machine. This blows. I'll be like this till Tuesday when I go back to the hospital.

And with nice weather like this, it double sucks...

Just got back from lunch and a ride with the wifey... It's nice out there... Sorry , not to rub it but maybe you'll be glad someone got to enjoy it and I was able to get the wife in the car for a short drive!
Gee. Red. I say that doesn't help.
