I think the injury to V-tek (heh) I mean Varitek is underated. Look how bad the pitching has been since his injury, his bat is the last thing they miss..........
Even with a healthy captain, I'm not sure the Sox could of done much better to stop the Yankees train, they are rollin' right now. Funny how money helps cures the injury bug.

I've not been watching the sox all that long, but based on what I've seen maybe that was the pitching problem.
