There is also a car-plug adapter thingamajig that I might get someday. But Jim says the batteries last for a LONG time.

As far as the Costco model goes, I'm a "features freak" and the 6300 series has more features than the 6200 series, so I figure for the extra few bucks for shipping (and the fact that I don't have a Costco membership), I'll get the extra features. (including a built-in stopwatch )

Got the unit today; Motorola gets my nod for the "golden cocoon" award, WAY too much plastic, way over packaged. Stupid, wasteful.
