I know, I am thinking since this a tech day, maybe I can learn how to drain the brake fuild completely and refill it.

I have no idea. Would that be a time consuming procedure?

You can bleed them if you want (I would flush out the system but that's me) or you can slowly do it the way Steve said. Either way I would do something. 30k isn't bad but it will help keep the components in great working order plus keep your braking the best it can be fluid wise.

I am going to try and make this seeing its in my back yard. I know I need an oil change and I think I am due for tranny fluid (not sure). I may do the oil before this date depending on how much time I get over the next week or 2.
If I can make it I will check back and see whats left that I can bring.

Oh ya BTW if you get brake fluid on your paint and you leave it there it will eat the paint off the metal. So if you use the baster idea make sure you put a towel around the area your working, and do not suck up the fluid and bring the baster over the fender... your just asking for trouble

I'll be there, and if there's any interest I can bring the cast iron fry pot and we can whip up some fried dough too.

Seeing as I shy away from the normal BBQ fare I'll probably swing by the seafood market near me beforehand so I can make some spicy blackened tuna steaks. If anybody else is interested just let me know.

Can't wait
