Tennis
Ah, Wimbledon I assume, Bill. Maria Sharapova, perhaps? The "cute women in tennis" thing really started with Anna Kournukova (sp?) 10 years ago or so. She was basically a mediocre player who was simply drool-worthy. She never won a major, but damned if all the men didn't want her to.
Other than Chrissie Everett (sp?) there was practically no eye candy in the sport over the years, since the '70s when I started watching. Some of these pretty Slavic women recently, though... Yowsa.
In all honesty, I can't really stomach women's tennis. The matches are best of 3 rather than best of 5, and the level of play -- while elevated signficantly by the Williams sisters recently -- is completely uninteresting to me when compared to the men.
Maybe someday they'll change the rules, but that's how I feel.
(not that I won't watch the cute ones for a few minutes at times...
)
