On the hand tools, never loved in a inanimate item.

Some Snap-on stuff is a lot better than Craftsman, some is a little better, some really isn't much different. All Snap-on stuff costs much more. I pick and choose the products I think are significantly better than Craftsman's then decide whether I'll spend the big bucks on them. I also have a handful of Snap-on tools that just aren't offered by Sears at any price.

I have about $50-$75k in Snap-on and Cornwell tools

I have one Craftsman and one SK ratchet and they both skip


To compare , the 80 tooth snap-on ratchet to a craftsman is like comparing the ride of a BMW vs a Civic . While both get the job done the Snap on makes it so much easier and more pleasurable . This is one tool you will no throw

Some might also think I am crazy when I tell them the tool box is $10k but then when I stand in a drawer and can still open and close it with my weight in it , it amazes people .

So when people ask why I drive a Scion , it is because my Porsche is in my tool box
