I can certainly understand investing in only the best if working with
tools is your profession but for the other 90% of us here I don't really
see the need. For the price of one snap-on ratchet, you could buy 2
or perhaps 3 craftsman ratchets and is someone that doesn't use them
every day really going to break 2 or 3 of them in less time than it takes
to break or wear out 1 snap-on?

Sure there are specialty tools that you can only get from a particular
manufacturer but for the weekend warriors using the basic tools I would
think craftsman would be fine.

Not forcing Snap-on on anyone to each there own .

Biggest thing for me is service . They come to me . Replace what ever I ask worn or broken . Most of the time I get full credit if I want to upgrade to something else .

You know Mark if you need something, where to find me

Thanks Scott! I really appreciate that. But this puppy doesn't do any
maintenance on his own, I figure I'll screw it up more and it'll cost me
twice as much to fix it and I'd probably have to have the car towed.

Besides, I know your tools are your livelihood.

I've been buying AmPro (stocked at advance auto) for un-****upable tools like screwdrivers, sockets, hex wrenches, etc, etc. Lifetime warranty, less expensive than craftsman, closer to home (wohoo), and no problems yet.
