Default Tree or no tree?

So, who has Christmas spirit?

I'm usually kind of grinchy, (see avatar and ticker), but not too bad this year.

The tree is already up as we have a family gathering this weekend, and another one on 12/19.

I've done most of the shopping and wrapping, and tonight, is girls' night with the granddaughter.

Also on the "To do" list is to stop by the State Police Barracks with some gifts for the "Toys for Tots" program. Lots of kids in need this year. Think about that if you would....

We'll get a real tree. Probably going to get it this weekend.

We will get a 6' tree or so, nothing gargantuan.

Sophia has a 3' fake tree that she uses for a night lite

No tree cats like to live in it. No wrapping of gifts as we dont buy gifts for each other. If we want or need something we just go buy it and do not use christams as an excuse to buy something. FTR its just Rose and I and we have no kids Also we dont buy for siblings, we usually have a chinese auction where everyone brings one item so thats NBD.

ya i am a grinch

Ya think?

We don't buy for each other, but we have grandkids, and that helps if one tends to be a grinch. I enjoy shopping for them, finding something that they will like.

We don't buy for siblings, either, but I do enjoy getting together with them. One sister is practically Mrs. Claus. I wish I had some of her spirit/enthusiasm.

I prob have the most spirit of christmas then any of you. for one most of my condo building has lights on it. so much that other condo owners want me to put some up for them. then i finally talked my grandmother to getting a big tree. so we bought a 6 footer at walmart for 38 bucks pre lit. then i bought the villages and accessories for under the tree. I also have the Rudolph the Red Nose reindeer figures too. every year we go to Hallmark and buy the singing dancing figures.
oh yeah I call myself doctor christmas lights cause I have a freezer bag full of those lil light bulbs and a tool that fixes light strands. best thing i've bought to fix lights.
