Default The tree removal thread

So last week we were talking about tree removal and I got a few pics of some of the doomed ones this weekend.

Each of the 4 trees are around ~120' tall. They will be taken down piece be piece with a 140' crane and I'll be there for pics when it happens. Here are some pics while they still stand. Ugly SOBs that won't be missed.

The bottom of the pine, it's leaning towards the house as the other half has already fallen and taken out the power lines a few years back.

Full shot of the tree, you can see the roof on the house through the trees.

This one is gonna go too.

The other 2 are similar but I have no pics now. I'll take some when they come down

One of Steve's outdoor furnaces. You can burn anything in them even green wood

Pine has such a low heat output tho, much better to use hardwood

Anyways like I said, it's spoken for.

Thats the opposite of what Steve told me I think. He said it burns VERY hot, just too fast.

True, I should have said low density. Pine is uber soft.

Altho I'm still not sure it burns as hot as maple or oak. We had a scrap fire with maple/oak this weekend and it was MUCH hotter than our average pine/spruce fires.
