I would say only 3 or 4 inches here, started as rain so that melted off
some of it before it started to accumulate. Then overnight it must have
switched back to rain for a bit because there was a frozen crust of
crapola on top.

Made for fun shovelling today, frozen underneath and on top.

Is it Spring yet?

Nasty stuff there Dave. Bet you're glad you have a snow blower. We got only rain. Today we have sun and lots of wind here.

Wow, Maine got nailed!

We had rain most of Sunday, but it turned to snow, barely a coating, before dusk. However, it was crazy slippery walking the dogs last night at 6:30. The wind kicked in and I think evaporated a lot of it before it froze.

State of emergency now. The winds are whipping up and that snow is frozen to the trees. My neighbor just had a pine tree go down I saw it.

I just spent the last hour digging out and cleaning off some shrubs and an apple tree. Still need to shovel the roof of the garage.

Went to get gas for the snoblower and there are power lines down everywheres. Im kind of suprised to see that many near me down as the crews do a great job keeping trees trimmed away from them in this area. I stopped and asked a lineman why so many down, he said there is a nice coating of ice and than the snow stuck to it.

O well another day eh, got gas for my generator if i need it.

Holy Sh--t! We were supposed to get a lot of that but it missed us at the last minute. Just got rain wet snow mix-no accumulation. Levy probably feels like he lives in the tropics after seeing your snow depth!
