the report to mod button is for
if someone, anyone has a problem with anything that's said online - rather than to run to mommy and cry like a two year old, wouldn't it be better to man up and say - hey i take offence to what you wrote -
otherwise no one would know what bothers this

Seems that feathers ruffle way too easily these days. Not only here, but in Vintage and other forums as well.
Example: I posted a link about the story about United Health and the connection they had to the company that sets the rates. A VALID story about health care, (a topic for VINTAGE for sure), and the mods got complaints and moved the thread. Mind you there had only been one or two replies and NO contentious discussions.
WTF would complain about that story, unless they worked for United Health Care or the company that sets the rates?
Obviously racist comments are wrong, and have no place here, however it seems that if one person doesn't like a thread topic, a comment or whatever, the "report" button is their best friend, and the CO/Mod feels the need to take action. Folks need to lighten up a bit.
