I don't know. But traffic law is like the bible down there. I bet their anti-detector law includes any device used to detect or defeat detection so I would just turn it off. They don't F around down there.

radarbuster.com says they are illegal down there as well as Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Colorado and Washington DC

Don't just turn your radar off, disconnect it and put it in the trunk. VA police have ZERO tolerance for radar detectors and I've heard they will even cut wires if they find a radar unit in the car.
