Where to buy a suit?
I need to get my son a suit for a wedding coming up next month.
He's 17 so I think this is something he will get more than one use out of so I'd
like to get something of decent quality but not have to spend 400+ for it.
I was going to try Men's Wearhouse because the last time I bought a suit they
were very helpful and took lots of time to make sure what I ended up with fit
well and was what I wanted. But I have been told they can be expensive.
Any other suggestions on places to try out? I've heard of places like K&G
and Joesph A. Banks but they are kind of far from me so I'm looking for a
store closer to me (Southern NH, Northern Mass. area) where I can get a
decent quality suit that won't break the bank.

That's close enough to me.
How are their prices? Can I get a decent quality suit, shirt, tie and
a pair of shoes for say $300?

If you want him to look sharp as an fitted you can go with Express.
Fitted pants, fitted jackets, from what I recall your son to be in similar shape as me. All of their stuff fits me well, not euro tight, but not sloppy American car sales person krap.
They might not be highest quality but so far pants lasted me about a year, I wear them once to twice a week. He wont wear it as often as I do but when he does it will look like he is wearing a tailored suit that could have cost him easily thousand dollars +.
They have some great sales, So the $300 to $400 mark shouldn't be hard to stay with in. When you come in, ignore the immature clientele, and non stop buzzing employees that just won't shut the **** up. If you can deal with that, your son will look sharp.
