Default why would you mod a corolla?

this guy is selling his modded corolla "S" and put a supercharger in it. it's an automatic,wtf would you mod a an Automatic corolla?

It is the first Corolla 1zz to ever be Rotrex supercharged and have a wastegate on the cold side. It is running the smallest pulley, with boost being controlled not by engine RPM but by a manual boost controller and the wastegate.

dont laugh , I have one booked for sa full engine build and turbo .... and it is auto



I guess it is no different than modding a Civic

I see no reason not to. People like to be different.

As for the transmission, some people just don't like stick.

I agree that it's like modding a civic, but it's like starting with say, a Civic DX. By the time you're done, you're still slow and you wish you had another cam shaft

Maybe he realized he should have gone for the XRS or even a model (2.4l 158hp!) as a starting point. Oh, and boo on the automatic transmission.

thats actually a very close friends car. At first i said the same thing.......then further down the line he's gain alot of respect for being unique and a one of a kind, slow or not it something else. That car has some real work done to it.
