yo erick,

have you ever tried to hook up the playstation to a DLP projector?

I'm curious to see if we can make it work.
I think an 80 inch screen would be a good thing for GT5 don't you?
No, I have not. But if this DLP projector takes component or HDMI inputs it should work just fine.

Ps3 does whatever you want it to do.... 480i, 480p, 720i, 720p, 1080i, 1080p. I believe the max component will do is 1080i. The only real limitation the ps3 has is it really, really wants a widescreen tv for games. I lose a chunk of screen real estate playing games on my 4:3 36" tube, but it still looks great.

Good question. I can't see why not. The ps3 has 4 usb connectors up front for controllers. The G25 only uses one. Then again, I've never actually heard of anyone using two of them at once. ...probably because it's beyond most people's budget's.

or alternately can two PS3's be networked for head to head with gt5?

I'm just thinking a little head to head racing would be fun.*

hell if my kids can a have a LAN party I don't know why I couldn't.

I don't think that's possible right now. Which is odd, since GT4 had lan play. Right now you have two options for multiplayer in GT5:P. Split Screen or online play. With the online integration the PS3 has, the GT5:P feature set isn't set in stone even at release. They promise to add new features like private internet games (invite your friends) and damage modeling right up to the release of full blown GT5 sometime next year.

Edited! Thanks Icon Queen
I'd like to see that too. I'm installing a 133" screen with 1080 hd projector right now. I play on a 60" LG plasma now.

Here's an example of how the game's state is still in flux. The Ferrari F1 car got a working LCD display today.
