Erick, howmuch does a setup like that cost anyway?
The seat costs ~$300. The steering wheel/shifter/pedals costs ~$240.

Erick you need a racing harness for that seat!
If I'm at risk of falling out of the seat, I just need to cut back on drinking. No additional purchase required.

now that would be an interesting test erick.

run laps and record lap times as you slowly get hammered.

Oh... that's been tried before many times. In general, my lap times get better as drinks are imbibed. A handful of beers in, is usually when I crack off a blazing lap or two. After that, my times worsen at an incredibly quick rate. I chalk this up to willingness to take risk. After a few beers, I go into go for broke mode. I brake as late as possible and push the car to the max on each corner not worrying about blowing a lap with a muffed corner exit or something. There is a very specific sobriety to skill ratio where this pays off and I actually do well. After hitting that peak, either additional drink consumption or just alcohol entering the bloodstream over time causes my lap time to increase at an astounding rate.

Why stop at rumble seats? What is really needed is a motion platform so you can feel G-forces.

Why not just start your own racing team with all the money you would dump into that setup???

Real race tracks are too far away from the beer fridge.
