Winter Beater/MPG
I average somewhere in the 23MPG range, edbo. Welcome aboard.
I have an old Suzuki Sidekick that I drive in winter. It's got 4WD and gets nearly 30MPG... Anyway, I won't say much about winter driving around here. I'm not overly impressed with the LM22 Blizzaks I put on my S at the tail end of winter, but I'll use 'em again next year if the roads aren't too bad. If you're going to do winter driving, others have recommended a WS50 (or something along those lines) Blizzak. The siren song of the S is almost impossible to resist -- I was totally jonesing for some top-down driving after using the Sidekick for 4 months.
Good luck.

I think I'll be picking up my parent's Camry, and transferring plates when it starts to snow, and then switching back when spring comes back. Makes the most sense for insurance reasons.
