I know Ben will come through. He was only kidding about putting all his money into Home Depot stock.

Hey JT, a little fun fact seeing we are both Babo's...

Arthur Blank, Babs alum, was the founder of Home Depot. He owns the Atlanta Falcons now. Met him in my graduation - very nice person and an amazingly savy biz guy, from what I can tell in our brief conversation.

As for Home Depot and Lowes... they are pretty much even-steven over the last couple days. Maybe they'll pick up when rebuilding effort starts. What is very interesting though is their stock price flux is nearly syncronized (with Lowes performing better in long term), indicating they are very much market driven. Now if the housing bubble leaks or bursts, then all bets are off.

no offense taken Steve.

Home Depot and other companies like them have already made a decent amount of charitable donations to the cause.
