ok so what's the nuclear option? ie BEST i should do

battery in trunk, cap or a high output alternator (mines 130 amp now) ?

hit the britney spears song "Radar" - subs were set to "stupid retarded loud" ie 20 and i was even like WOW that's awesome and way too much but a few seconds later the battery light flashed for a second or two

dialed the subs down to just "stupid loud" ie 9 and no issues at all

it's louder now than before and the lights don't flash as bright but i want Britney Spears at "stupid retarded loud" without any issues ie lights and battery light

what do you think?

plus i think i need some dynomatt as something is rattling now

i would say just a cap is needed as u only had the light for a sec or two. if it happens on every bass hit you need a better alt. but 130 should be ok. what size wire did u run? 4g or 0g? if its 0 moveing the battery wont do much but is easy to do so u can easily.

yup no lights flashing at stupid loud now only at stupid retarded loud

I'll install a cap and then i think i'll get a yellow top battery and then if that doesn't do it i'll jump up to a HO alternator

and Brian i only noticed the battery light flash for a second or two before i dialed the subs back to 9 it was on like 20 or something and they were hitting super hard and the song was bass heavy - no issues at 9
